Steakhouse at Cove Bar & Grill sits in the heart of Cove, Oregon—just a short drive from Hot Lake Hot Springs and La Grande. Housed in a historic building and reimagined with a modern edge, this place is built on stories, hard work, and a real love for good food. We serve ½ lb burgers stacked high, fresh salads, comfort food done right, and our signature 14oz Prime Rib that people drive in for weekend after weekend.
What started as a dream is now a place where families gather, college students come for a proper meal, and friends meet over cold drinks and live music. Steakhouse at Cove has grown into the kind of spot that feels familiar the first time you walk in — and even better every time you come back.

meet Robert Hasse
Opening a restaurant has been my dream since I can remember — not just any restaurant, but one that felt like home. A place where families gather, where the food is honest, and where the atmosphere feels like something you grew up with, even if it’s your first time through the door.
When the opportunity came to build that dream in the Grande Ronde Valley, where my parents are from, I didn’t think twice. This area means something to my family — and now, this steakhouse does too. Steakhouse at Cove Bar & Grill isn’t just a business. It’s a promise to serve good people good food with pride, humility, and care. Every 14oz prime rib, every burger off the grill, every cold beer poured — it’s all part of the story I’ve been waiting my whole life to tell.And I’m grateful you’re here to be part of it.
